Facebook Marketplace Gets an AI Upgrade: Meta is adding new AI tools to Facebook Marketplace that automatically reply to buyer messages, help sellers create listings from a single photo, and even suggest pricing based on similar items nearby. The goal is simple: cut down on the endless “Is this still available?” messages and make selling faster and less manual. Sellers will also get profile summaries for added trust and the option to offer shipping with built-in labels and tracking directly from their dashboard.

Bumble Is Building an AI Matchmaker: Bumble just introduced an AI assistant called “Bee” that acts like a personal matchmaker, learning about your values, dating goals, lifestyle, and communication style through private conversations. Instead of endless swiping, the AI analyzes that information and recommends people who actually align with what you’re looking for. The feature will first power a new experience called “Dates,” where Bumble explains why two people are a strong match rather than leaving users to guess from photos and bios. The move is part of Bumble’s bigger bet that AI can fix swipe fatigue and bring younger users back to dating apps.

Google Maps Turns Into an AI Travel Assistant: Google is rolling out a new Gemini-powered feature called “Ask Maps,” letting users ask real-world questions in plain language like where to charge a phone nearby or find a tennis court with lights. The AI can also help plan trips, suggesting stops, directions, and tips pulled from real user insights while factoring in your past searches and preferences. Alongside that, Google is launching Immersive Navigation, a redesigned driving experience with 3D visuals, smarter route guidance, clearer lane and road details, and more natural voice directions. The update aims to remove the guesswork from navigation and make Maps feel less like a tool and more like a real-time travel assistant.
