ChatGPT’s Tone Is No Longer One-Size-Fits-All: OpenAI now lets users dial ChatGPT’s enthusiasm, warmth, and even emoji level up or down directly in the Personalization menu, making the chatbot feel more like your style and less like a generic assistant. It’s the latest tweak in a year full of tone drama, after earlier updates made the model too flattering, then too cold, and users pushed back both times. Critics are already side-eyeing the feature, warning that chatbots cozying up to people on command could blur emotional lines and fuel unhealthy user attachment.
Tesco Partners With Mistral To Bring AI Into Everyday Retail Operations: Tesco has entered a three-year partnership with Mistral to build AI tools that support internal workflows and customer-facing systems, aiming to save staff time and improve service. The move reflects a broader shift in retail toward using AI behind the scenes to streamline planning, forecasting, and decision-making rather than relying on flashy customer features. By creating an internal AI lab and focusing on controlled model deployment, Tesco is taking a long-term approach to integrating AI into daily operations at scale.
Roblox Brings AI Deeper Into Game Production Workflows: Roblox is embedding AI directly inside Roblox Studio to speed up creation work for small teams and cut production bottlenecks. New capabilities like prompt-based, functional asset generation and language APIs aim to reduce repetitive tasks and reach broader audiences, while workflow links through the Model Context Protocol help creators move assets between tools without friction. The company ties these upgrades to revenue and safety outcomes, showing how operational AI can support monetisation and scale across its ecosystem.
AI Explained
AI Agents Are Here But Most Businesses Aren’t Ready. Here’s Why.
If you’re hearing the word “AI Agent” everywhere and thinking, “Okay, cool… how do I actually use this in my business?”
This is going to save you months of frustration. AI agents are not magic. They are not plug-and-play automation. Agents sit on top of something and most businesses don’t have that “something.”
Workflows.
Context.
Systems.
What we’re seeing is people skip straight to the idea of having an agent run their marketing or operations, even though they haven’t touched the foundation of AI yet.
They’re using it every day, but nothing is trained, nothing is stored, nothing is personalized, and nothing is set up in a way an agent can actually use. People want an agent running their marketing or operations, but they don’t yet know how to upload files, store information, build references, or choose the right tools. That is why so much frustration exists.
So before you think about an AI agent, ask yourself:
• Have I already mastered the foundation of AI?
• Do I know how to upload my files and build reference material?
• Do I understand the tools I’m working with?
If the answer is not yet, that’s the real starting point.
If you’re already using AI and you want to move beyond prompts into real, measurable output, this is exactly what we’re building inside the upcoming AI training. We’re focusing on training assistants, shaping decision-making, and applying this to real operations. Spots are limited, save your seat here.

OpenAI is officially letting developers submit apps for use inside ChatGPT, turning the platform into a place where people can actually get things done, not just chat. Developers can now build app experiences that let users do real tasks inside a conversation, like ordering groceries, turning outlines into slide decks, or hunting for apartments. There is also a new app directory inside ChatGPT where people can browse, search, and add apps, and the first approved releases are expected to roll out early next year as OpenAI works to grow a full ecosystem of chat-native tools.
