Anthropic Pledges $20M to Shape AI Regulation: Anthropic announced it is contributing $20 million to Public First Action, a bipartisan nonprofit focused on advancing AI safeguards ahead of the 2026 elections. The company says rapid advances in AI capabilities, along with risks tied to cybersecurity, biological threats, and national security, require a clearer federal governance framework. Public First Action plans to support candidates across party lines who favor transparency requirements, export controls on advanced chips, and targeted regulation of high-risk AI systems. Anthropic framed the move as part of its responsibility as an AI developer to support policies that balance innovation with public safety.
Olympic Talent, Algorithm Soundtrack: Czech ice dancers Kateřina Mrázková and Daniel Mrázek made their Olympic debut with a rhythm dance program that featured partially AI-generated music blended with AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck.” According to official Olympic materials, their selected piece included “One Two,” an AI-created song in the style of 1990s rock, which replaced an earlier version that drew attention for lyrics resembling existing hits. The use of AI-generated music is permitted under current rules and marked another high-profile moment where artificial intelligence appeared on one of the world’s biggest stages.
Threads Launches “Dear Algo” Feed Control: Threads has introduced a new AI-powered feature called “Dear Algo” that allows users to temporarily customize what they see in their feed. By posting a public message starting with “Dear Algo” and specifying what they want more or less of, users can adjust their feed preferences for three days, with requests visible for others to view or repost. The feature is now available in select countries and adds a more interactive layer of personalization as Threads continues to grow its mobile user base.

Human + AI Is the Competitive Edge

AI adoption continues to grow across industries, with businesses using it to power marketing, support, operations, and automation at scale. At the same time, customers are sending a very clear message about what they actually want.
In a recent report from OutreachX, 93.4% of U.S. consumers said they prefer interacting with a human over AI for customer service. 88.8% said companies should always offer a human option. Nearly half said they would cancel a service if AI-only support were their only choice.
That is not resistance to technology. That is a demand for balance.
AI is incredibly useful but customers still value humans in the loop.
AI can improve speed, organizational flow, consistency, and personalization. It can handle repetitive work, draft content, analyze data, and power backend systems. These are the things that free up your time and energy. Yet when interactions become sensitive, complex, or emotional, people still want a real human on the other end.
And this is where your advantage comes in.
The brands that are going to win in 2026 and beyond are not the ones that automate everything. They are the ones that know what to automate. This distinction separates intentional businesses from large companies that are implementing AI everywhere without purpose.
Use AI for what strengthens your systems:
Drafting content
Organizing workflows
Pre-screening support questions
Analyzing data
Managing backend operations and reminders
Keep humans in the loop where trust is built:
Sensitive customer interactions
Complex decision-making
Relationship building
Tone and emotional nuance
Human plus AI is the strategy.
As AI becomes more common, people are getting better at recognizing when something feels generic or fully automated. If your systems are not trained on your voice, your standards, your tone, and your values, they will sound robotic and customers will know.
The future is not about replacing yourself with AI, it’s about training AI to operate like your team while you stay present where it matters most.
If you want to learn how to build AI systems that actually reflect your brand voice while keeping human oversight where it counts, that is exactly what we are covering in the upcoming workshop. We are not just prompting. We are training AI team members properly so they support your business without stripping away connection.
